This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) outlines the rules and guidelines for using Uzabiz (“we”, “our”, “us”) services, including the Uzabiz marketing platform and all associated tools, APIs, and applications.
By using Uzabiz, you agree to comply with this Policy. If you violate this Policy, we may suspend or terminate your access to our services.
1. Proper Use of Messaging
You agree not to use Uzabiz to:
- Send spam, bulk, or unsolicited messages not permitted by law.
- Send messages without user consent (opt-in).
- Use automated bots to scrape numbers or auto-send without human verification.
- Impersonate any person, business, or entity.
- Mislead users about your identity, service, or product.
2. Legal Compliance
You must comply with all applicable laws, including but not limited to:
- Kenya’s Data Protection Act (DPA)
- WhatsApp Business and Meta policies
- Consumer protection and anti-spam laws
3. Prohibited Content
Do not use Uzabiz to promote, share, or send:
- Pornographic, sexually explicit, or adult content
- Hate speech, discriminatory, or violent content
- Fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal products or services
- Drugs, weapons, or gambling services
- Anything that violates WhatsApp’s Terms of Service
4. Platform Abuse
You may not:
- Reverse engineer or interfere with the platform infrastructure
- Try to gain unauthorized access to any system or data
- Bypass or attempt to bypass usage limits
- Overload the system through abnormal request volumes
5. Business Use Only
Uzabiz is built for legitimate business and organizational use. You may not use Uzabiz for personal spamming, chain messages, political harassment, or any non-professional behavior.
6. Enforcement
We reserve the right to:
- Suspend or terminate accounts violating this Policy
- Report illegal activity to appropriate authorities
- Cooperate with WhatsApp/Meta during investigations
